The spray valve creates a highly regulated suspension in the air, evenly distributing liquids with viscosities up to 1000 cP, including urethanes, fluxes and paints. The material is supplied from a pressurized container. Each valve is driven by air pressure controlled by a controller. The operating air pressure opens the needle valve, releasing the flow of material, a separate air line pressurizes the air cap to spray liquid. The application process and flow rate are determined by fluid pressure, needle travel, valve-to-face distance, and the length of time the valve remains open.
